JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for an independent contractor that will represent Ticket Island as a Sales Account Manager. This position will play a vital role in accelerating our company’s growth. As the first line of contact with prospective clients, you must be able to understand the diverse business needs of our event organizers. You’ll become an expert in the event industry and the Ticket Island solution. You will be responsible for bringing in new business through repeat outreach, developing relationships and communicating Ticket Island’s value.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Represent Ticket Island with style and grace by providing excellent customer service to all prospective and existing clients.
- Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport and preparing quotes.
- Consult on how the Ticket Island platform can be used to make any kind of event successful.
- Identify and document qualified opportunities into the company’s CRM database.
- Significantly grow revenue from existing Ticket Island accounts.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the entire sales process.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of sales/customer service experience.
- Experience in e-commerce, event promotions and ticketing is a plus.
- A fearless ability to proactively engage new clients.
- The ability to access rejection and remain persistent.
- A consultative sales approach and knowledge of how to maintain control of a conversation.
- The skills to passionately and clearly articulate value/benefit.
- A knack for asking great questions to uncover issues with a prospect’s current process.
- A firm understanding of how to qualify buyer interest and identify target customers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Light travel may be required.
