Who is Ticket Island?

  • Ticket Island is an online event registration company that services live events by giving event managers/producers the essential tools needed for maximizing profits through attendee registration which results in outstanding, sold-out events.


How does it work?

  • Selling tickets online has never been easier!
    1. Create: Fill in your event details, create single or multiple ticket types, and your page is ready.
    2. Promote: Invite people to your event with a custom link and display a “Buy Tickets” tab on your Facebook fan page.
    3. Manage: Gather attendee data and access your account 24/7 to make any changes.


How much does it cost to get started?

  • Creating events and selling tickets online with is free and always will be.


What are the service fees for free events?

  • There are NO service fees for free events. If the ticket price is $0, then our service fees are $0 as well.


What are the service fees for paid events?

  • There are two types of fees associated with paid events:
    1. Ticket Island’s Service Fee of 2% plus $1 per ticket sold (capped at $9.95).
    2. PayPal’s Credit Card Processing Fee of 2.9% plus 30¢ per transaction.


We are a non-profit, do you have special pricing?

  • Yes, Ticket Island offers a special discount on our service fee for non-profits. In order to qualify, you must provide documentation and meet the following criteria:
    1. You must be a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
    2. Your event must be dedicated to the common good of your local, state and/or national community.


Can I pass the service fees on to my attendees?

  • Yes, you have complete control over which fees you collect with the following three options:
    1. Collect the service fee and credit card processing fee from your attendees.
    2. Split the fees with your attendees.
    3. Pay the service fee and credit card processing fee yourself.


When can I collect my ticket sales and how do I get paid?

  • Up to 50% of revenue from net ticket sales are released bi-monthly (15th & last business day of the month).
  • The remaining revenue from net ticket sales are released 3-5 business days after your event ends.
  • This gives time to resolve any credit card claims your attendees may file with their bank.
  • It is recommended that you post a picture or video of your event on Ticket Island’s Facebook or Twitter page as proof of your event taking place.
  • You can collect your money via check by mail or through PayPal.
